Nexuz is operated by Techscending LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Nexuz app, website, and organizer features.
Information you provide
We may receive information you choose to provide when creating an account, joining an event, setting up an event profile, contacting us, or using organizer features. This may include your name, profile information, event information, and other details you choose to share.
Contacts and personal notes
Contacts you capture through Nexuz stay on your device and in your iOS Contacts. Nexuz does not receive a copy of your address book contact data. Private notes, messages, and your personal relationship history are not shared with event organizers.
Event information
If you join an event, the organizer may see that you joined and the limited event profile information you chose to share. Event organizers do not receive your phone number, email address, social links, private notes, messages, or named information about who you met through Nexuz unless you separately choose to share that information outside the app.
Organizer analytics
Nexuz may provide organizers with aggregated event activity and impact reporting based on activity recorded in the app. These reports are designed to help organizers understand event engagement without exposing attendees' private contact data or personal relationship history.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve Nexuz, provide requested features, support users and organizers, maintain security, and communicate about the service.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers to help operate Nexuz, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and payment providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Nexuz, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You can choose what information to add to your Nexuz profile and what limited information to share with an event. You may also contact us with privacy questions or requests relating to your account information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Nexuz changes. When we do, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
